    Truck pulls hard to the left under heavy braking.

    You may need to bleed your brakes. If they are not bleed properly when you apply the brakes hard one side will hold stonger then the other causing it to pull to one side.

    Help me identify the sound??

    My 1991 Explorer had a clunk in the front end whenever I went over a bump and it was the lower ball joint gone. Replaced them and i haven't had a sound since.

    4x4 Low Range Light Glow

    My 1991 Explorer does the samething sometimes. If i'm in 4LO and shift back to 4High and then 2WD the 4Lo light does the samething as yours does. But if I shut the truck off and start it again the light doesn't come on. So if you find out what it is please let me know.

    All it says on the inside of the door for axle is D4?? Does anyone know how 4:10 gears are on the highway?? Whats the top speed?? Do you also have to change the front axle gears too???

    I had the same problem with my old ranger, it turned out to be the u-joint on the front driveshaft.

    Stupid Headlights

    I had a similar problem with my 91' Explorer. I would only have headlights and no park lights. It was the switch giving me the problem. It use to burn out the contacts inside the switch because i had the fog lights hooked up to the park lights.

    I've had the fog lights on for about a year now and it's only been happening lately. It blow about every month and a half or so.

    headlight switch

    My headlight switch on my 1991 Explorer keeps blowing. When it goes you need it half way between the park lights and the head lights to get anything to come on at all. Could this be because i have my fog lights hooked up to my park lights??? Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks.

    5x7 or 6x8

    I know for fact that a 6x9 won't fit and i'd probally guess that a 6x8 won't fit into the steel frame of the door either but i'm not 100% sure but 6x9's won't.

    My 91 Explorer got 182000 on it and it's original and still feels and shifts great.

    3 inch body lift ???

    Why would a PA 3 inch body lift need a steering extension?? I got a Trailmaster 3 inch body lift on my 91 Explorer and the steering was no problem at all.

    SOA in back and 2 inch spacers up front

    With it all worked out with math, the rear will be up about 5.5 inches and the front 2 inches plus the 1.5 inches already(for whatever reason it's higher in front) so the back will be about 2 inches higher which shouldn't be that bad but i don't know for sure. Thanks Steve
