    High milage explorers?

    115,00 mile 2006 Explorer XLT 2 Radiators 1 at 70,000 2nd @ 105 ,2 Batteries ,2 alternator , 5 sets rear pads , 4 front ,4 rotors ,transmission @110,000 ball joint tie rods in and out 115 000 stereo 80,000 set of rim 2 sets tires. rear wiper motor,sway bar bushings 2 sets.

    Front Suspension Rebuild Kits

    I have 2 year old moog ball joints with 30k on them and they are junk making noise over bumps and this is all highway miles not off road. They are moogs written on the boots. Also Had tie rod ends gone in 50k.:rolleyes:

    Transmission Fluid Filler Tube

    Filler tube Found I found a site that has the tube and a bunch of OEM Ford parts. www.trademotion.com it claims fast ford parts. Trans Filler tube part # F77Z7A228CA price $23.49 I also found my oil pan that is rotting. The prices seem resonable being Ford Parts.:thumbsup:

    Trans dip tube I also have the same trouble with a 00 Eddie Bauer. Came here to find one as one person wants $50.00 + shipping. That is crazy if it was chevy or GM auto zone $15.00. I have a search in with bone yards will post when I find one. Also live in mass must be the New England Salt.

    Thanks for the info I have a 2000 EB and the same thing only high fan. The fuse is good and the relay and big fuse in the engine compartment too. I am going to try this fix as allot of othe relectronic parts on this Explorer were corroded and rusty due to Harsh New England salt and weather...
