    Doubler

Anybody got a 2wd M5ODR1 they can measure the output shaft behind the splines?

ok guys Here are three questions for you

Pretty sure a 2004 V8 is a 4.6. T-chain tensioners are internal, have to remove the timing cover to get to them. If you are going in there to replace them might as well do the whole job or at leasst replace the guides since they are lined with plastic. I have been working on cars for over 10...

    Doubler

4.10 are to tall for a 1350/54 doubler and 40's but not for a 203/205 doubler and 44's. May not be ideal but the 205 can take it. I know a guy that runs that with a NP435 trans and breaks u-joints and shafts, t-case stays together. Anyway that's a different subject all together. Found a pic of...

    Doubler

Center hole is the same for fullsize or RBV, 4.9". The RBV bolt pattern is actually wider than the fullsize. On the fullsize Ford the bolts are about 1" from the edge of the center hole, on the RBV the bolt holes are about 1.5" from the edge of the center hole. There is no room on a Ford 203 to...

    Doubler

I wish they would make a 3:1 gears for the Ford 205. Then I wouldn't put a doubler in my BII. I'ld just run that with the 435 and 5.38 gears would give 108:1 vs 70:1 with the 2:1

    Doubler

Why? Because the 203/205 or 203/D20 is stronger. You can twin-stick the 205 and D20, 203/D20 gets you about 4.9:1 Just checking out my options. I have a manual 1350 and an electric 1354. That may be the way I go, but I like the 203/D20 option better. I have run the 1350 behind a V8 with 38"...

    Doubler

Has anyone tried putting a 203/205 or 203/D20 behind an RBV trans? People have shafts resplined all the time and you can drill the 203 for whatever bolt-pattern you want. So I don't see why you can't have a 2wd output shaft resplined to Dodge 23 spline. Haven't measured but I would guess the RBV...

    Nitrogen filled tires: ’99 Explorer

I work on cars for a living and I don't know if I've ever seen any nitrogen filled tires that were NOT low. Maybe the shops around here, that do the nitrogen filling, don't know what they are doing. IDK, they are low when they come into my shop.

    Hello from Tn

Just picked up an Explorer a couple months ago, 2-door 4x4 5spd. Bought it to put the trans in the 4-door that my boss gave me, but he can't get a title for it so I'm putting the motor out of it in the 2-door. Currently have an 84 BII with a SEFI 5.0 1/2 tons on 38" Swampers. Will be getting...
