Dropping my m5od for rebuild and just got stuck on one of the bolts. I've done this before on my 1st explorer, but I'm running into a hell of a headache. The upper bolt on the drivers side is rounded out on this one. Any suggestions? I'm going nuts thinking about these bolts!

good advice here guys... I was having the same problem after changing the breaks. Turns out I forgot to adjust the parking break!

okay so after i opened up the trany i found that the gears and everything were... well, damn near perfect... I went back and checked out the clutch, annnnd its prettty much F***ed!

did anyone else have to take most of the exhaust out? I had to pull it from the y pipe back

ok so ive put about 4 hours into getting it out... Im almost there and now for some reason cant pull off the quick release hose to the clutch! Can someone please tell me an easy way to get it off, its the only thing keeping me from pulling the tranny out... and yea, bandaids are probably...

I was looking thru the the lil cut out in the bellhousing an having someone step on the clutch... I could see it make contact and release. athe clutch was just replaced about 20,000 miles ago and the tranny has around 260,000 miles on it.

Does anyone have info or tip on pulling the tranny out of my 92? I really dont want to get started and end up breaking something...

I just put my 92 up on jacks since I cant get it to move under its own power... the motor is fine, I can see the clutch working, I dont know wtf is going on!!! Any ideas would be great right now!!! HELP ME!!!
