only because you put on new front rotors does not mean they are true, or, you could of warped them already. i would take them off and get them turned for starters. i would not think a warped rear rotor could be felt in the pedal. possibly, but i have never encountered it.

because what you said is just plain stupid and makes as much sense as putting more air into a tire that has a hole in it. fix the problem, be done with it.

do a leak down test on all the cylinders, also look at the plugs to see of you are in fact burning coolant

damn....57$?? iirc i paid under 15$ for it when i did it last year. i used rtv to seal up the air box after i cut it open. took a couple hours, but i went slow, and took out the seat for room to lay down. i used a hot knife to cut the air box. been over a year, and its working just fine.

i love my exploder. but its also at that age where stuff is wearing out, right now im shopping for new front cats. still cheaper than a payment. but a new screw f150 looks damn nice!

i was thinking the price was a little high myself, but these cats are the bolt on factory style, no welding. i have had magnaflow mufflers in the past, and they were of good quality, so im hoping the cats are also

im shopping around for new front cats and the required gaskets/hardware needed to do the job. im seeing some sites asking WHEN in 1998 my truck was built, either before january 98 or after. whats the deal with this? do i care? whats the difference? also, for magnaflow front cats, needed...

exhaust is in good condition, its a southern truck so salt is not a serious issue here ( nc ). ill know exactly what the rear o2's are saying this weekend when i get a chance to hook it all up to the computer.

after i reset the computer, i have several not readies, as i drive it around various systems become ready, only the egr, evap and catalyst stay not ready, when the catalyst changes to ready, it triggers the CEL. my dad has a laptop with some program on it so we can watch live data from the rear...

the only codes stored are 420/430, so its turning on the CEL, i think its time to jsut replace the cats. local parts house quoted me ~ 400 for new magnaflow cats. they have weld in universals for ~300, then i would need to take it to an exhaust shop to have the old ones cut out, and the new ones...
