This is about my friends 1999 6 cylinder F150. His A/C fan will only operate on the HI and Low setting, no middle, either wide open or very small. The guy at the shop said he needed a new fan switch and resistor. We replaced that and it worked for the afternoon then that evening it went back...

I took it off and cleaned it out with some electrical cleaner thinking that it might fix the problem. It didn't. I am wondering if a new part would fix it. What do you think?

When I start up my Explorer it revs up to 2000 rpm then after a few minutes it settles down to around 1200. 1200 seems high for an idle. How do I keep it from starting up so high and lower it once it warms up? Thanks.

Yep, Its right where you said it was and it works!!! Thanks. BTW, I just bought my 00. Now I'm waiting on a keyless remote from someone on ebay. They said it is real easy to program. I hope. So if you press 5/6 after the code the trunk will open???
