97 Explorer Power Steering Pressure Hose

The photos CDW6212R provided helped me greatly. I just wanted to add a few more photos of the placement to add a few more views. In case it helps save somebody some time. http://imgur.com/a/K8jgp

97 Explorer Power Steering Pressure Hose

I wanted to say thanks too! I picked up the same part and spent about three hours trying to figure out what the engineers were thinking. This is the only post I found. Hopefully it won't take long when I tackle it in the morning.

    Replacing whole Thermostat Housing

Yes, just did mine and all that was required was removing the air intake hose, moving the throttle body out of the way and getting all the attached hoses out of the way. Took about 3 hours.

    Thermostat housing leaking

I picked up a replacement here. http://www.am-autoparts.com/1999/Ford/Explorer/ThermostatHousingRel.html I have to admit that at first I was hesitant to buy parts from this company a few years ago because the prices are so low but after buying everything from o2 sensors to complete brake and...

    Can anyone please help identify?

Done, I ended up making my own "Y" from small sections of hose and heat resistant epoxy. I guess I'll just keep checking it to see how it holds up.

    Can anyone please help identify?

No, it's just a rubber "Y" that attaches the plastic tube that comes off the big air intake tube to two connectors under the front part of the intake manifold. I can read part of the number off the part. It's "XP904AG", the X is the letter/number I can't make out.

    Can anyone please help identify?

I've been working around this part for years and constantly repairing it. This time I'll be replacing the thermostat housing again because the bottom blew out of the one I replaced two years ago. The tube is fine but the rubber "Y" at the end where it goes into/under the intake is old and...

    12v Outlets Blow (fuses)

Ashes! Not sure of how conductive they are but when I removed the cigarette lighter it rained lots of ashes so after cleaning the 12v plug I re-connected it and it worked fine. Took a while to get to it because somebody backed up into the poor girl and I've had to replace the front end from...

    12v Outlets Blow (fuses)

Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to get to it... Thanks for the input, I didn't get a chance to re-inspect the issue again yet or even touch it as the rotors that were supposed to be "local" are actually coming from TN... :( So, I'll be looking at it again hopefully this coming weekend.

    12v Outlets Blow (fuses)

I've had this issue a while and couldn't find it listed here. About two years ago I plugged in my phone and found that my outlet was dead. I checked the outlet on the side of the console and that was dead too. I popped the fuse cover (interior) and replaced it only to have it blow, although not...
