    02' ford explorer factory sub help

    I have recently hardwired an aftermarket radio into my 02' ford explorer. However, the radio gets very hot and there is no sound. I was told that it is due to factory sub and an rca lead. What is this and how do I over ride this problem? NOTE: factory harness had been cut off.
