whats it sound like when you try to start it? Spray choke cleaner in the air intake if it starts its fuel. Make sure all connections are hooked up, then make sure all vaccum lines are hooked up, check the fuses, check the schrader valve for fuel pressure see if it squirts out, look for broken...

Update So the overheating was cause by an air pocket I bled the system and topped it off with coolant. Secondly the noise from the passenger valve cover I figured that out too, one of the rocker arm bolts was loose so no more banging noise from the valve cover. I've driven the truck and no...

Yeah the spark wires are all going to the correct cylinders and it was running before I replaced the head gasket and I replaced the lower/upper intake gaskets along with the valve cover gaskets as well.
