I'm one lucky person, my first good job was accessories installer at the import docks installing radios and A/C into VW Rabbits. I had this job at only two locations from 1976 thru 2006 when I retired. 30 years doing what I consider fun just can't be beat!!!! Probably 10,000 A/C installs...

I uesd acrylic rod for a "lens" super glued in place, used JB Weld to fill any gaps, protect lens from glue with masking tape. Wired these in with switch so I can turn off at night (so damn bright) I masked off only about 3/16 strip of lens before painting to make less bright. Amazon...
