I got around to downloading and installing the update in my 19 Explorer. Took about an hour and 20 minutes. Have NA 2 20. Sync 3.0 build 20204. Map shows some new roads in my area so guess all is good. Just have to remember to put the lic download file in the SyncMyDrive folder.

Appears that they are just replacing the retaining clips with new ones and applying some glue to help hold the cover on. My cover on my 19 seems tight.

Update: It was the battery. Took it in yesterday; dealer checked battery and it was ok they said. They let it set for couple of hours and noticed a huge voltage drop. So now have a new battery. That is what I thought from the start. 14 months on old battery.

That is what I thought and told the service advisor. Will let them get into it Tuesday and report back. I had a 56 Chev in the day that had a bad battery with bad cell. As soon as you jumped it the battery tested good. Finally I just bought a new battery and problem went away.

Something in the shutdown to save the battery system prevented me from starting the car today. Engine would not turn over or even click. Had wrench symbol on the driver display and message on center display about the battery saver system. Got jumper cables and after a minute or so the engine...

I get the same thing on my 19 Explorer. I think Ford has some wires crossed somewhere.

If you go to owner.ford.com web site with your car, does it show an update is available? Mine did for both my cars. I then used the USB method. My wifi did the spinning and spinning till I turned it off.

Just updated my 17 Escape and 19 Explorer using USB. Update took a minute or so to actually start the update and then maybe 5 minutes to finish. Did turn off the auto update feature in the car to use the USB. Not sure if that is required.

Updated my 19 Explorer today. Worked fine, took about an hour. Now 1-18; was 1-17. Not sure it was worth it, but free.

I have done them on my 14 and 19 w/o jacks or lift. Just laid on garage floor. They were DeeZee.

Update today. Had the work done at local dealer. Says took 0.3 hours, update to ABS is all it says.

On my 19 Limited, if I start the car with the fob in my pocket and then exit the car with motor running, I get a chime and a message pops up on the left display saying "No fob detected". If you don't get this message then I would think there is another fob still in the car somewhere.

I actually got it to fit the 19 Explorer. You just have to use a bit more force to get the clip to catch on the console edge. With ProClip not listing it for 19 Explorer with factory navg; I figured something had changed on the car. Wrong, ProClip just doesn't handle the model anymore.

not sure, model is 854637, for 2011-2015 ford explorer when I bought it on 1-2-2014. Pro clip dosen't show that model now. The 14 had factory navg screen console. Search of their site doesn't show the model available now. Photos show mount and holder; 2 parts from ProClip.

Just got a 2019 Limited and my proclip I had on my 2014 Limited won't work. Center console trim has changed. ProClip doesn't show one for the upgraded center console mount like I had. Anyone had any ideas. Know this is a new model jsut out a few months.

My 2014 Limited's battery just died Sat. 3 years and 1 day from delivery. Have had several new car batteries last 35 to 36 months. Just nature of the beast I guess.

I have weathertech in my 14. It is molded to fit the floor opening with lip all way around. It has to be taken out to fold the seats. It won't fold. The weathertech is a great floor liner.

on my 14, just touch the black button on the door handle locks the car. If you have a part of your hand on any part of the door handle also, car won't lock.

My 2014 Explorer Sync update to V 3.7 Received notification on Sync update to ver 3.7 yesterday on owner.ford.com web site. Downloaded and installed it today. Now to see what is improved. Funny, my 2013 Escape still says ver 3.6.2 is up to date.
