What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

Well guys, I hate to say this but for the sake of my clutch, I don't think im going to go 35s. I just had to replace the clutch, slave cylinder, and a hydro. line. It set me back 600+ bucks. I just had all this replaced just over a year ago (20k miles). I believe it was due to running 3.27...

  21. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

That is true. Going from 32s to 35s will give me 1.5" more ground clearance.....which is a lot.

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

Regearing a second time is not an option for me.....i'm a poor college boy :) The only reason I regeared to 4.10 the first time is because I got a good deal on the gear set and a detroit trutrac for the 8.8

  28. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

Well said; and the problem is, I wheel in everything. Mainly URE where there are rocks, but sometimes mud and snow too. There are benefits for both. If I go w/ the 33s with wider rims, I'll have more power and a more stable stance. If I go w/ 35s and 8" wide rims I'll have more bead/rim...
  29. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

Well its both backspacing and width. Most 10" rims stick out more than the average 8" rim because usually the BS is within an inch of each other. Most 15x8s have 3.75 BS and most 15x10 have 4 to 4.5 BS.

Oh yeah and thanks for the input guys.....keep em' coming.
  33. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

I know a 12.50 tire is a 12.50 tire, but a 10" rim makes them appear to be wider. I want the best looks and performance so thats why im trying to get opinions. Which ever has the most votes is what I will do because for some reason, its a hard choice for me.
  34. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

Im either going shorter with a wider stance, or taller and keep the same stance.
  35. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

Come on guys I need some input
  36. stevewes2004

    How much lift???

Shocks that are made for a 4" lift will give you much more flex;)
  37. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

    I have a 5 speed so it won't be as bad. I ran 32s w/ 3.27s for about 6 months.......and survived.
  38. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

If you are wondering, I have trimmed my fenders accordingly to fit either of these setups.
  39. stevewes2004

What do YOU think.....33s or 35s

Ok, I've been debating on what to do about wheels and tires. I know I want bigger, and have narrowed it down to this. 33s on a 15x10 rim.....or 35s on a 15x8 rim. My specs are in my signature.
