    97 v6 SOHC compatible engine and transmission

    Hi, I've got 307,000 on my 97 XLT, 2WD V6 SOHC. It's gonna go any time now in spite of the constant love I've given it. I want to replace it with the same or as close to the same as I can get. I had a V8 AWD 97 and hated it. I like the low hassle 2WD and have never had an issue getting stuck...
