you will need the body lift for rangers, I THINK it is part number PA883. IT doesnt include new mounts for the rear bumper so you will need to make some new ones or the bumber will be 3 inches below the body.

That makes a lot more sence than battery acid. Is it best just to cut that part out of the wire, soder it back together and put heat wrap on it? what is the best way to get it off of the metal under the wires?

It is deffinatly the thermostat. I had the exact same thing happen in my 98 SOHC about 6 months ago.

Do you have the part number or link to the bilstein upper mount adpater? I have been looking for one for a while. I am thinking of the adapter to connect the upper shock mount of the shock to the upper shock mount on newer explorers.

I would say very high 60s during the day is perfect, a little cool at night but overall very nice for off roading. Ocotillo keeps sounding better!

I know we really need to get something going!! I want to go look around places on the weekends but my torsion bars are overtightened and its making for a ****ty ride off road. I dont have any tools up here to lower them back down. Its getting really annoying :mad:

yeah, i know. i can only find those with a full kit (AAL and shocks). I just need the spindles. it is easy to find sheap ranger ones on ebay so i am hoping some of those fit us too

Would a set of 3" spindles for a 99-05 ranger edge work in my 98 x? If not would any of the ranger ones work? or is there some difference?
