Wait for section525 to see this thread. He also lives in Chico but it out of town right now. I'm sure he knows of a lot of good stuff. You're not too far away from the Rubicon (Lake Tahoe area).

EDIT: Nevermind about the Rubicon, I just saw that you are 2wd.

Yeah, there's a lot of places around here that you could do in 2WD. Josh S just moved here also. We're gonna head up to High Lakes in Paradise when I get home just to check it out. Also, Lassen, and out 32E has some good spots. Also, up Cohasset road.

let me know when you guys are going places, i would love to go someplace around here and try the area out

iv never ben to chico but im in sacto i think im not to far away

we need to plan out a run for all of the nor cal people, sac is like 90 min from chico.

Take a run over to burney, tons of places there.

was just a joke, used to live in redding, head on over to Burney, great fishing, alot of open PG&E land along the pit river and hat creek.

i will go on a trip. i just have to fix my hubs.

anyone ever been to the clay pits SVRA right by chico? if so is it worth checking out?

Hey, I'm new to the board, but I have a '97 XLT 4X4. If anyone in the Chico area wants to meet up, I'd be up for that.

I am thinking on saturday i want to go to the Clay Pit place and look around and take the X out. If you want to go we can plan somethign out. it is like 20 min from chico

Any of you two have a white Explorer?

I saw a white 4-door lifted with clear front corners yesterday. Looked like mine, but white. :p I was in my superduty though... so I didn't get noticed. :(

Is that the white one parked on Legion Ave most weekdays? I see it everyday since I am in the dorm, very clean.

I don't know. It's a 2nd gen, very clean. I guess it has to be the same one. How many could be in Chico?? :p

Have you met up with Josh S yet? He's right down the street from you. You've probably seen him drunk riding his XR50 around. :D

hmm... must be a diff one, i have only seen a white first gen.

We all need to meet up sometime and plan out a run, soon.

I have an easy schedule to remember.

I'm free from now till the 5th of November. Then gone until the 18th of December. Then free until April. :p

Josh and I are planning on making the t-haven run in January. But I wouldn't mind going out in late Dec or early Jan for some local stuff.
