92' No Fuel Pump. Have changed. Checked fuses. Thanks!

If you mean check the fuse under the distributor box under the hood, I have done that and the fuse is fine. I have read about an inertia switch? Would anyone know where that is located on the 92. What else should I look at? Thanks for the reply!

92' No Fuel Pump. Have changed. Checked fuses. Thanks!

92 first gen explorer. Parked it for the winter and it will not start this spring. I turn the key and hear no sound from the fuel pump. I changed the fuel pump last year and knowing how those Chinese cheap parts last I figured it was probably the pump and went ahead and changed it again...

Left tire wearing quickly on inside and showing metal. Front end work, what would cause this.

Hey guys. My truck runs and drives, but the front left tire, drivers side front tire, is wearing quickly. I changed all the tires at the same time and three of the them are fine, but the front left one is wearing out very quickly on the inside. The outside of the tire looks great, but the...

    Slave cylinder line won't connect.

I tried to get pictures this morning, but my phone is horrible so I am going to wait for the girlfriend to get home to snap a few new ones. What I need to know is if a 1994 master cylinder and clutch line will install onto my 92 truck, and then if I hook it up to my 94 slave, will the truck...

    Slave cylinder line won't connect.

I made a horrible mistake. I'm embarrassed to write what happened, and I hope you guys don't judge me too hard. When I bought the part, the guy told me it was for a 1992 Ford Explorer. I installed it, put the tranny back on, and now I am finding out that the receipt says 1994 clutch. I can't...

Thanks guys, ill get it on tomorrow. When I tried to get the tranny up and over the exhaust the metal drive sticking out from the slave was hitting and pushing in the fingers on pressure plate...I hope its ok, but it looked fine. I took the clutch off and to a local tranny shop. The old men...

Thank you guys, I dropped the transmission with your help, but now a video and question...

I can not get the tranny back in. It took me almost 4 hours to get the tranny up and over the exhaust. I should have taken out the Y bar. Hours after hours of fighting with the tranny to get it up and over the exhaust.I finally got it up and over the damn bar, and now I can not get it to line up...

How do I check if it went into the clutch lining? I would like to save money, is there anyway I can just take off the clutch pieces, wipe everything down replace and install. I know I would hate to get it all back together and still not have a working truck...but it does come down to money...

From the bottom of my heart, thank you guys for everything. I have never done any work on a truck and went after the clutch. I think if I knew any better I would have never started. You guys helped me out at every turn. It was the hardest thing I have ever done, but I got the transmission to...

UPDATE. Removing clutch to save truck from dump.

I got the transfer case out last night, that was the hardest thing to remove. Today I am going to try and drop the tranny. I am really worried about the exhaust... It looks like someone has cut the exhaust and welded it back together 3 times in the lifetime of this truck. I am worried I will...

UPDATE. Removing clutch to save truck from dump.

I just found out that there is a panel that I can access the transfer case from the cab of the truck. I cut the carpet back away from the shifter inside the cab. I cut through some insulation and thick carpet and removed four bolts that were holding on a panel. I removed the panel and am now...

UPDATE. Removing clutch to save truck from dump.

Howdy, So I started this job a few days ago. Right when I got under the hood my neighbor wanted to take his boat out and go deep sea fishing so I got sidetracked the last two days with that. I have never really worked on cars, and all I have is a cheap tool set from Home Depot. Luckily I...

Last chance to save my explorer or the girlfriend is taking it to the dump. Clutch problem.

Thanks for the info about the timing chain, the girlfriend got a laugh when I told her what the previous poster has said and then your post. I have researched a lot, and am excited to go. Do you think that I should drop the trans out, look at the slave and clutch before I go and buy a kit...

Last chance to save my explorer or the girlfriend is taking it to the dump. Clutch problem.

Thanks guys. Please keep checking this post as I may have some questions come up. You guys seem to think that it is the clutch and not something simple like the master cylinder because of the earlier leaking fluid. Is this the ebay kit I need. All I can find on ebay is kits for 93-00 explorer...

Last chance to save my explorer or the girlfriend is taking it to the dump. Clutch problem.

Good evening guys, Long story short, the explorer has started to break down more and more in the last year. Every time it is something simple, or less then a hundred bucks, and I change it myself and get it back on the road. I've added some photos, but pretty much it is just a traveling...
