Can you try the amp in another car or try another amp in the Expedition? Try pulling out the deck and powering it from another source. Also take the ohm/resistance readings from the subs at the amp and then take each individual sub if it doesn't look right. It is probably reading around...

The size of the wire can directly effect sound quality if the amp is being starved of current or voltage drops from using to small of wire.

Does the deck cut off at high volumes with the amp off? Try running the amp at 2 ohms, a 1 ohm load is really making the amp work hard. The higher the ohm load the more stable the amp is. Also try connecting a wire from the 12v terminal to the remote turn on to help eliminate that the amp is...

You can keep the factory radio/ mach audio setup. The RF modulator send the signal from the cd changer through the antenna and you just have to tune the radio to the right station.

It might be easier to just buy an aftermarket CD changer and a RF modulator to send the signal to the factory deck. Also you could ask a dealership and see what they say.

I would run the 120-150 breaker under the hood and place the 80 amp fuse close to the amp. What brand/model amp is it? Kicker ZX750? What is its RMS? A 1000 watt amp should draw 66 amps according to OHMS law.

The adapter that plugged into the factory harness should have a blue wire coming out and it should connect to the blue wire from the aftermarket deck. 1 or both may be blue with white stripe.

If the head unit is shutting down it is probably due to low voltage. Check the voltage going in the HU when playing it at high volume. If the sub/amp combo is not properly wired it could cause excessive current draw.

Did you connect any of the blue turn on wires? YOu may need to if you have a factory amp.

Yes it is in the pre-cat. I was incorrect on which side it was on, it should be passenger. The side that cylinder #1 is on.

The P0455 could be the gas cap being loose, a vent valve or a bad connection. P0133 is the driver side O2 sensor on the primary cat. If you are going to change one you might as well change the other.

well you tell me the color wires that are on the plug that goes into the factory amp and ill let you know which one is which.

Isnt this the 3rd thread on this. You dont have to go behind the HU just go to the plug that goes into the factory sub amp. What colors on the wires on the harness that comes from the HU and connects to the amp?

Its the same paint that was used to piant on the outside. I have some duplicolor spray cans I am hoping will match so I dont have to go to the paint shop.
