    Adding OEM Glove Box Light

Sorry I totally forgot about the cupholder when I got back home. Here it is:

Has anyone with the B&O system replaced factory center channel? Is this a better place to start instead of the Sub?

I saw your post detailing the door speaker replacement when I searched before making my post. I like that set you put in your doors and will add it to my list to look at when I progress that far.

    Adding OEM Glove Box Light

Is it towards the front of the box or rear? I glanced in there but didn't see a spot where one might be.

    Adding OEM Glove Box Light

I have the ambient cup holder at home. When I get back I can post images with the part number for you. The arm rest one I was wondering about if it existed.

    Adding OEM Glove Box Light

The forward one has a light in it. I was talking about the one between the seats. I never imagined the forward one would be the one that's gone!

Has anyone with the B&O system replaced factory center channel? Is this a better place to start instead of the Sub?

I run my system in Surround Mode because I think it provides better imaging throughout the cabin. I've been thinking about upgrading my B&O system. In home audio, the center channel is critical, so I don't want to skimp on that part. Is this a good place to start my upgrades? Has anyone done...

    Adding OEM Glove Box Light

Where did you find the "What's New" documentation? I'd like to look them over to track from 2020 on up to see what has been removed over the years.

    Adding OEM Glove Box Light

Old thread I know, but I'll be checking my 2022 Timberline when I get back home later this week. It's a shame that manufacturers spend so much time de-contenting vehicles. Was an issue in our 2003 Chrysler 300M Special we had a long time ago. Earlier versions had things such as illuminated...

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

It may have worked on mine because it has the B&O system in it. The Timberline is basically an XLT with some extras. Was the B&O system an option in the XLT?

What is everyone using for a Factory Service Manual?

I didn't even know that online one existed. Thanks!

What is everyone using for a Factory Service Manual?

My last new vehicle was a 2007 Explorer Sport Trac and I had the paper book 2 volume version of the FSM for it. Since that time I know Ford has gone electronic. I see several populated on eBay for my 2022, but hesitant to pull the trigger on one as they seem quite inexpensive. Not really...

Sold Steeda 555-8141 Rear Differential Brace, $450 shipped USPS Priority in the US

Steeda shows this as working on 2020-2023 models. It may fit 2024/25, but I'm not sure. The brace was on for about 100 miles. It does cause a little bit of driveline noise which is why I'm selling it. My wife could hear it she said. I just turn the radio up myself, but happy wife, happy...

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

After selecting "enable", writing it and a restart of my Timberline, I am now enjoying the high fidelity sound of HD Radio along with the extra channels that are available in my 2022 with the B&O system. Thanks!

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

Where in Forscan did you find it? I haven't played much in it yet on my Explorer, but we're been using it on the Ranger. Is it in the BCM section?

Does your 2023 Explorer Timberline have Ambient Lighting?

My 2022 Timberline also does not have it. I read the manual several times and it tells you how to use it and enable it, but it's not there. It's just not included any longer I guess, but not documented anywhere. I also have the Technology Package. Here's another thing that makes you wonder...

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

I miss having it is all. My last Explorer (2007 Sport Trac) had it on the head unit I installed in it. It's not the audio quality I miss, but the extra channels. The station around here had extra channels for news/talk and sports. One had a 80s only channel and the country station had a...

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

Just wanted to quote your reply again as I went to the Ford site to build/Price. It seems that the HD radio doesn't show as included with the B&O system until the ST-Line, Limited, ST, Platinum and King Ranch. It seems to skip over the TImberline even though it is higher in the lineup (between...

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

Interesting. Thought it was standard equipment these days. Even the owners manual where it talks about HD radio doesn't specify the usual "if equipped". In my Google searches I see that the Maverick only includes it if you get the B&O system. Also the F150 groups say that it doesn't show...

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

No it doesn't mention HD Radio removal. The only removal credits are Auto Start/Stop and Wifi Hotspot. This one was built before they were offering credits. I'm second owner. First owner ordered this vehicle optioned up how he wanted for his wife as a surprise. She didn't like it so it was...

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

I can't even find the option. In the manual it says to go to the settings menu for the radio, but the only options I can find are the Sirius settings. No settings menu is present for the radio only.

Is there a place I missed to turn on HD radio?

I have a 2022 Timberline with the Technology Package (12 speaker B&O system). My brother was looking at my vehicle comparing it to his 2021 Ranger with the B&O system and asked me why I didn't have the HD Radio on. I wasn't sure. I did some searching and found some reports that it is just a...

FORD EXPLORER OWNERS CAN NOW BUY THE TIMBERLINE’S SKID PLATE

If you need to change the filter, the drain is easy to get to. They are only a few inches apart.

FORD EXPLORER OWNERS CAN NOW BUY THE TIMBERLINE’S SKID PLATE

On my last change I added a Fumoto valve to drain it and bought the hose that attaches to it. That'll help with the oil drain part (it would initially drain ok, but as the flow slows it would curl back and go onto the plate..) For the oil filter I tried something new this time and didn't get a...

    Coupon Codes for Forum Members

Hi Benny! I'm looking to purchase the engine cover and hardware for my 2022 Timberline Explorer L1MZ-6A949-C (cover) W714647-S442 x4 (studs) W520201-S450B x4 (nuts) I think I need 4 studs and 4 nuts, correct? Thank you

FORD EXPLORER OWNERS CAN NOW BUY THE TIMBERLINE’S SKID PLATE

There's no access panel to remove or replace. Only the small square hole for filter and oil drain. The oil tends to go onto the top of the plate too. Maybe I've just not yet mastered it in my Timberline yet as I've only done 2 changes on it.
