I'm using Mobil 1 Syn & Mobil 1 filter.....change every 7K miles.....all the researches I've done so far shows that you could go for 7-8K miles for full syn. I had a bmw M3 with full syn, they recommended 12K miles for oil change....go figure !

How do I test the solenoid ? just apply 12v ??

Oh, one other note: I don't hear any noises coming from the engine when this Idle problem occurs in the morning. If this is intake manifold rings, would I be hearing some sort of rattleing sounds ? ( I picked this up from reading some of the 00M12 threads) thanks.
