Naah, use the yellow/black (stock color) switched 12V wire. Its energized only when the truck is running or the key is in acc position. Your amp will be on as long as the truck is running and turn off when its not. That way no draining of battery and no switch needed.

The large grey connector is the 20 pin rear seat controls. There are things available for around $100 that will allow you to use the rear seat controls but never tried it. I pretty sure the wiring is same for mounty.
