when i looked at the bronco i took a measurement from the front of the bell housing the output of the transfer case and compared that to the explorer and the bronco was a 1/2" shorter.

not sure what 5speed it is. How can i find out? got the bronco for 100.00 and the trany is smooth and quiet. i just cant justify putting a 1000.00 in to a rebuild in to a 2000.00 truck.

no its got a 4r55 that is junk. my explorer has 3.73 gears.

Bought the Bronco and drove it home gona pull the trany this week. What are your thoughts on this swap? Pros and Cons? Any thing to look out for?

I have Kumho Road Venture AT KL78 31x10.5x15 on 15x8 wheels. they do verry well in the rain(no hydro planning), and seem to grip very well on the ice and snow. the only thing that i don't like is that they are really L O U D!!! they sound like mud terrains.

the concept origanly had the 03-04 cobra motor in it, to bad they dumped it. i would of had a order in for one if it had that.

i have them on the rear of my mustang. it has gone low 13s on street tires and done a little auto-cross with them. i just put some on the rear of my exploder also. i have never noticed any vibration or any thing unusual with them.
