Thanks for the replies..it looks like i will have to replace shackle bracket and shackle on both sides..they are rusted beyond belief, It looks like the shackle bracket is bolted on, perhaps it was changed once already,, i guess my best bet is to chisel or cut the bolts off ..ii doubt i will...

I am not sure if its a shackle or mount..but the passenger side leaf spring the furtherst piece toward the rear bumper where the bolt/grommetis connected is totally rusted through and is only holding on by a thread, is there somewhere to by a new bracket to bolt leaf spring to it is a old...

Did me a coolling system flush today.. prestone flush.. i swore that it said on the container to leave the heater and A/C off and run it for 10 min. after normal operating temp.to let the flush work.. not making sense i did it anyway.. after i was done i reread the container and i was suppost to...

after reading the container of flush again.. i goofed up... it says to turn heat on and a/c off.. boo boo damn... so i eccentially did a half -assed job... oh well more antifreeze and another flush... thanks for the replies

could i do a heater core flush by removing hoses at firewall?? when i did the radiator flush the directions said to keep the heat off,,maybe it should have been on...

How the heck does one get at the last 2 plugs on the 2.3litre drivers side? engine 4cyl with 8 plugs it seems next to impossible to et at them, never mind replace wires.
