Yeah, that's the fill plug. All you should need is a ratchet, can't remeber if it's 1/2" or 3/8" drive but that should do it.

They're a great starting point for a truck. Because of the end of the year sales, I've noticed dealers letting them go for a good price in my area.

Re: it's much more $ than you think ! That's a pretty competitive price if you consider you need a compressor with the ARB. But since nobody makes a selectable locker for the SLA 35, the price will be kinda high b/c of lack of competition to bring the price down. The Ofrotec locker...

I agree but my '01 is my daily driver and I already have an '83 slated for a SAS. I'm just looking at ways that I can gain an inch and a half of lift, other than TT, and I like the fact you can customize c/o's to your specs for the ride you want.

Thanks for the response Khris. I was actually hoping to use the c/o kit to gain a couple inches of lift. Now that I'm thinking about it though, I'm not sure the cv joints would be happy with that.

I think it has to do with the fender opening. I know with the 2nd gen, you could get away with it b/c the fenders are opened up a bit more than the 1st gen. You may be able to fit a 33X10.50 on the stock rim but I'm not sure.

I think your gonna need an 8" lift anyways, so that the front diff clears your engine crossmember under flex. I wish I had the cash to do the project your going to do. :p

Do a search for Jefe's truck. There's plenty of pics and info to help you out. Jefe has the B/L, TT and shackles with major fender trimmage to clear the 35's. His truck looks really good. Another thing to consider is that you will probably need lower gears for the larger meats.

Oh', I 'd take some pics for ya but my friggin truck is still at the dealer, a week and a half now, waiting for the parts to fix the damned T/C rattle.

My KKM hooks up directly to the MAF without any brackets and is secured by a hose clamp. There is only one support bracket that is about six inches long, L shaped metal. That's pretty much it. This is on my Ranger but I'm sure it's pretty identical to your Ex.

There is an explantion for this, b/c he is a she. She probably got sucked into one of those games they play and didn't know any better. Getting a second opinion is good advice.

I agree with the guys from your work. Your running boards hang rather low and are easy to damage if you don't take care. Careful driving and maybe a spotter will help you through the rough stuff. Otherwise, get out there and see what she's got!
