they dont give you the hood, just a template to cut your hood and a gromet to clean up th cut surface.

I bet a shaker hood could be fabbed up and not that difficult. i pick up my 91 in 2 weeks, once I have it in front of me I will look into it. I had the plans drawn up for my 86 GT so it cant be that much harder.

Spas, the one I posted is for Mustangs but I am sure it can be used with some fabrications. The scoop its self looks the same as the one on the X. How dificult it would be to set up is beyond me, but I am sure it can be done.

With a drop that low I would suspect alignment problems. AS Jimabena74 said, you would need something to set the camber on the truck. i know because my Mustang has a 3" drop and once I installed the adjustable cambers it aligned right up. You will be able to get it close but i doubt you will...

Thanks guys, When I pull the swap I will swap out the motor and Tranny since the newer model will hav less miles, plus I lost the OD in my tranny a while back.

I am gonna swap the whole motor, not just the heads. I have over 200K on this motor. I am wondering if the swap will bolt right in, or if there will be modifications needed. Thanks guys Nick

between the 4.0 in my 91 and the 4.0 in newer trucks, like 98s and above. The reason is I have a blown head gasket and I need to pull a swap. The V8 swap is too expensive right now and i can have my hands on a 4.0 from a newer X (wreck).

You might want to run through your coolant system closer. My mustang has a constant smell of antifreeze, never ran hot, or leaked and had a brand new heater core. Turn out to be the radiator was starting to go and the leaks were so small the water would evaporate before leaving a mark bt would...
