Mine did the same thing. Every time I took it above around 2500 rpms, it would sound like somthing was loose. I have never heard an engine ping before so I didn't know what it was. After I cleaned the MAF it went away. Good luck with yours.

On steeper hills, when I start going up I will always lose speed and then the rpms will go up. Like I'll be going 2000, and then at the top Ill be at lik 2700 and I'll lose lik 10 mph. And if I give it more gas the check engine light will come on for a few seconds and then turn off. Any ideas?
