Hi I have found a 99 EB with 122,800 miles. This thing looks like it has 22,800 miles on it. It is in excellent condition and needs nothing it has the 4.0 sohc and runs and shifts like brand new every power option works. I can not find one thing wrong with it. The dealer is asking $7,900 for it...

Had the same problem take off the black cover below the ingition switch and you will see a blue switch in there just wiggle it a bit and see if the buzzing stops thats all I did and its been fine ever sence.

I cant remember if I used a hairdyer or not but it wont hurt it if you do. I do remember that it came off easy. Also take off the black piece off before you do it. It is easier and it is held on by 2 10mm bolts if I remember corectly. I used 3m double sided tape to put it back on that you can...

98FordX24 Use a small flat head screwdriver to pry out the emblem on the black piece I did this last year on my 98 it was held on with adhesive.

I have had the same problem and I turn the key on and the switch and then tug on the wiper arm where it goes into the tailgate and it will start working I have done this about 3 times in a year so when it stops working I just tug on it again. Hope this helps.

Mine rocks also as a matter of fact when I started shopping for an explorer I would say that 90% of them rocked when I was test driving them. Definatly a common problem.

The one I have screws on it is a cheapy but is 2 yrs old and has no rust on it works ok for me for 5 bucks.

Go mine at pep boys looks just like that.
