Yeah. One side has the push button for adjustment, the other has a pinhole. Insert a pin/small screwdriver etc in the hole and push the hidden button in while pulling up the headrest.

My current spare is a 255/70/17 which is roughly 31x10. It was a tight fit between the hitch and the heat shield in front.

My wheels are 20x9 with a 12mm offset. I did have to trim the fender flares where they curve inward.

It is getting out of hand...:rolleyes: I have a few ideas! #1) Can we turn this topic into a poll? Or rather add a poll? As in if BTF made the strut spacers, would you buy them? #2) How about cleaning this topic up and maybe Brandon of BTF should start an alternative lift kit ideas thread?

If they are for Toyota TACOMA are you sure they will fit? Remember ours have 4 wheel STRUTS, not shocks. As for the solid axles, I have no intention of spending $10,000 to lift this truck!

Well, what do you mean exactly? As there are only two companies that make these (soon to be three), in the discussion of spacers we may have to use his company name, unfortunately... And speaking of which, try not to copy his design to a T either. He may copyright his design after all this went...

HEY BRANDON: So far as the spacers go, I have noticed a difference in the ones RB made and the ones TRUXXX makes. His just kept everything lined up the way it was. Truxxx's design turns the struts around 180 degrees. They say it makes them work better. Also the Truxxx spacers have a slight angle...

I think it would look cool, shouldn't be too complicated either. :thumbsup:

Regardless, a four month wait with no contact is ridiculous! :thumbdwn: Back on topic. After the 2.5" strut spacers I had from Roadbully-Offroad I do not want to go that route. It rode very rough and the upper control arm angle was scary. I want a REAL lift kit. I am willing to pay a little...

I had an issue with rubbing on the inside of the fender flare but that was due to the offset of the wheel. I cut the curved under part off so it was straight. No more rubbing. :thumbsup:
