What rear-end gear ratio did your Explorer come with stock? Here is a reference if you are unsure what you have.....Dead Link Removed Codes can be found on the driver's door jamb sticker.

what if you have two trucks

Mom has a 5.0 Mounty with 3.73LS, the 94' had a 3.27...guess i'll use that one scince it used to be mine

It would also be interesting to know how the axle ratio related to the type engine, whether OHV or SOHC.

My 00 Sport OHV has a 3.55 open diff.
