I just bought a 99 Eddie Bauer edition 190k. I replaced the battery and the shift tube bushings.. before starting the vehicle I noticed the gas gauge was sitting at about an 1/8 of a tank and upon starting the vehicle the rpm gauge shot to 4k but the idle seems to be normal. Shut her down...

First post to say what's up 🤙🏻 I've come here a few times and came out with pretty solid advice so I made an account. I just bought a 99' Eddie Bauer.. basically everything is stock except the wheels, I just put a set of 31s on her. She still needs some work so I'm looking forward to everything...

Hello forum!, good to see such a strong community, awesome!. Ok well, here is my issue(s) I put my 99 explorer XLT 5.0 v8 into drive, start to move forward and all of the sudden, the car "hard" shifts into second gear. It's not slipping, its just jerking hard into the next gear. It happens...
