    can i interchange an 04 mercury mountaineer hatch with an explorer hatch

    so my back window got busted out and i was curious if the whole back hatch for the mercury mountaineer 04 was interchangeable with the an 04 ford explorer the parts look like it would work. It would be cheaper to just get the part from a salvage yard but i didn't know if it there...

    Changing hydraulic supports (lift shocks) for the rear hatch.

    i have a 1999 ford explorer. v6 4.0 L. i just bought new hydrolic supports to hold up my back window (not the whole back door just window) because the current ones i have won't hold the window up. However, i do now know how to take off the current ones or put on the new supports. thank you.
