Changing hydraulic supports (lift shocks) for the rear hatch.

i have a 1999 ford explorer. v6 4.0 L. i just bought new hydrolic supports to hold up my back window (not the whole back door just window) because the current ones i have won't hold the window up. However, i do now know how to take off the current ones or put on the new supports. thank you.

Have someone hold the window open and just work a small screwdriver under that metal clip on each end, pull it off of he ballstud. The new one will just pop back on.
