Just installed a 10in sub with a 1100w amp (850 rms) the sub is 400w Max and I'm on my stock alternator, also have an aftermarket headunit which I believe pulls 180w max. Can my alternator handle it? Or should I look into getting a high amperage one.

I am thinking of adding a powered Kicker underseat subwoofer/amp combo to my 2016 Limited with MFT/Sync2, and would like to keep the install clean while maintaining the stock Sony setup. Has anyone done this yet? Is there an adapter that taps into the head unit for powered an lineout? Thanks...

I went to a junkyard today and purchased the factory subwoofer and amp for $10 but my explorer was not equipped with one originally so I was wondering is it possible to wire this to the factory CD/cassette combo radio? I also grabbed the wire harness that goes from the amp all the way up where...
