tire pressure sensor

I just bought some 17" OEM "Steelies" and 245/70/17 BFG Rough Terrains. Should/do I need- to replace the TMPS sensors, or can they be harvested from my old aluminium rims?

All started with a message "tire pressure sensor failure" 1 week later I hear this sound constantly, a noise as "clac, clac, clac" as constant as a working clock always at the same rythm. does anybody know about something similar? Thanks!
