OK my X just started doing this yesterday. Turn the key and nothing at all happens not a sound what so ever.
Ok it has those dam computer chip keys so I thought it was that. Tried my other key and got same result. Whats the chances both keys went bad at the same time? not likely I guess. So today I tried again sometimes it starts right up and sometimes it does nothing? The dash all lights up but thats it. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Is there a module that controls the keys maybe acting funny? I still think there is something up with keys but not sure. I don't think its the starter because it doesn't even try to do anything.Like there is no power going to it. Maybe something with the ignition? any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

My first guess would be the battery, it having enough charge for the interior lights, but not enough for the starer draw. I would check it first.

Sorry, starter draw :D

the battery is fine. I don't think its that if you have the lights on the truck doesn't seem to be pulling any power draw at all. no light flicker and stuff. Its almost like the key isn't activating the igniton?

Sounds like a starter relay to me. I'd start checking there first.
