01 02 ranger hood

Man I love the big dual V shaped cowl induction hoods on the newer rangers. Anyone succesfully try to put one on an X? It looks too curved to fit on a first gen anyways, but it would look sweet on the newer explorers.

I beleive there was a thread on this a while back. I think the hood was about an inch too long, necessitating that you would need the fenders, and front grill assembly to go along with it.

I wish it, but the general consensus is no. It is too much work replacing the whole front end.
