01-05 rear bumper

Going to end I'm looking for an bumper for cheapif anyone know where to get one. It doesn't have to be in the best shape. I can fix it...... I'm going to end up cutting it up a little bit anyways to french it in. Doing this because some hit my fiberglass roll pan and broke it. Don't want to re fiberglass this thing again so I'm going to go with a metal bumper. I'm looking for a cheap one , I guess if I can't find one ill go to the salvage and use one from a little older explorer.

If you want a metal bumper you'll have to get one made or make one. The ST's bumper is completely plastic including the reinforcement, only the bumper tow ball mount is steel.

The lower piece just below the tire carrier with the tow ball hole is the only steel in the whole bumper, this is mine with 3" body lift brackets and the swingout tire carrier I made for it...

Did not know that.... i will have stop that search. Looks like i will be making one from a 97 explorer. it should be close enough on the dimensions to fab up. Thanks for the info.
