im looking into buying an 01+ exploer sport 4wd auto
has to have a sunroof, or i wont get it

is there anything i would want to know about these cars, fresh design and all, has to be some probs

its either going to be this or an 99-00 civic si

big diff, yea i know, cant make up my mind

You definately want the Explorer. They are great vehicles. And besides, what Civic have you seen go offroading?

you can really tear through snow with the 4x4.
but like all fords they have there minor glitches that keep popping up. you would have to be willing to break out a repair manual and do some matinence yourself. otherwise the dealer will break your bank.

currently the things not working on my 01 sport are: overdrive switch will not work. reverse lights dont work.

SiLenZe What the hell are you doing to your truck. The only problem I have had is a bad IAC and thearmastat. Both replaced in the same trip to the Dealer under warranty.

ive had a lot of minor things replaced under warrenty so far. door switch, latches, exaust leak, egr sensor.
in the winter my tranny doesnt like to go into 5th gear.
its like pages of stuff they print out everytime i go in.

im putting in an alarm and all of a sudden i notice things not working right. my locks dont lock when i put the car into drive. wierd crap. and i havent even tapped into the wires to the doors yet.

i have 35600 miles on it now. so next week ill have to take it in before i roll over 36.

You are going to be hard pressed to find a crowd that will advise you to get the Civic here. What is the other vehicle again? Ohh, the Explorer... I've heard great things about them.
