hey all i am having some of the same problems with my transmission as many of you. it is shifting hard from 2nd to 3rd and then the overdrive light comes on an flashes, until i shut off the truck then restart, from what i have read it sounds like one or more of the shifting selonoids. can it be isolated to which one of the selonoids is malfunction by having a scan done, secondly where are they (selonoid) located? are they just under the pan, or internal?
