01 Ford Sport Trac Clicking noise help

I have an 01 ford sport trac with a clicking noise that coming from the driver front wheel i have pulled off the brakes and found no problem there. The sound gets louder the faster i go it almost sounds like i have a big nail in my tire but i have check it and there is no nail or screw. The faster i drive the faster the clicking noise gets any ideas?

rock in the tread maybe?

try moving that tire to the other side or to the back and see if the noise comes from the same place
