I was driving the other night and felt/heard a loud pop from my seat, followed by my lumbar support going limp. After looking at multiple threads, I figured the support mechanism itself broke. I pulled the seat cover, and as you can see, the mechanism is fine.
I then pulled the seat out and flipped it over on my tailgate, and I found this:
That part of the cable is on the right-hand side of the seat. After re-inserting it, I put a zip-tie around it for a little more tension, and now I have lumbar support again.
Hopefully someone out there can find this useful. All you need to remove your seat is a 10mm socket and a small extension for clearance.
