ok i have a weird issue here ... 2 months ago i had the transmission in my truck rebuilt (clutches and solenoids). issue is same now as was before rebuild except the busted clutches.. my truck will shift perfect at times and every so often acts like it wont manually shift ... i have to manually make it shift from first to second cause in drive wont leave 1st gear.. and i cant make it shift out of second.... every now and then tho i get the rpms to 4 grand it will shift but shifts hard... i turn if off during this acting up time and it wont start but kinda bounces like a manual does when you try to start when its in gear without pressing clutch.. guy who rebuilt is in dallas and said will send me a new tranny but i live in florida and thats along time without my truck ... ive had people tell me its a shift servo and others tell me there is a sensor on my throttle body that tells the computer when to make the transmission shift... no lights ever come on and i dont want to ship off my transmission and it be a sensor also ..... has anyone had this issue or know what i can do to check see if something simple?
