01 ST Idleing to high any thoughts?UPDATE
My 01 ST just starting idleing to high the other day after the ride home from work. On that ride home my A/C blew warm air for maybe a minute tops then went back working good. Now it wants to idle at 1500-1800 rpms after driving it on the highway, eventually it seems to drop on down closer to 1000 rpms. Just hoping for a direction to look or someone else that has had this problem. I have not found this specific problem using the search feature.
***Wanted to pass along that it is fixed. It was the failsafe style thermostat ($53.00 retail) that failed. It was causing the truck to go into limp mode, cutting the A/C off and idleing higher to get better air and coolant flow. Hope this helps***
