Hello All,
I have a 02 Ex EB 4.6L 4x4, been in the family since new. Great vehicle. Around 150,000 miles (when converted from KM).
Trans has been rebuilt twice, once at 50,000 miles, and the other time at around 100,000-110,000 miles.
Overall the truck runs great if driven normally. I remember it used to have way more power delivery back in the day. It still has it, but it seems like it struggles in some areas.
1st and 2nd gear seem so close to one another, if you are giving lots of throttle, it will probably hold its shifts. shifts 3-4 sometimes minor slippage on heavier throttle. Trans fluid and filter is changed every year.
going uphill, or wet surfaces, it seems like it bucks, or the 4x4 bucks. I have replaced the t-case fluid, speed sensors, and 4x4 module. all new OE parts.
No faults in system. I have checked and cleaned the solenoid block connector. I have a new OE solenoid block awaiting to go in once I have some free time. Just seeing if there is any advice on what i'm experiencing.
Thanks in advance.
