02 door mirror prob

Dear @all,

over the last say 18 month I have encountered a weird thing with our 02 Explorer’s outside (door) mirrors. When I like to adjust the mirrors first they do not operate at all. After a few minutes horizontal movement is possible and after some more time you can adjust them vertically. Both are affected at the same time, always the same pattern of behaviour. No blown fuses.

What could that be?

Since its both it feels like a electrical issue possibly the knob that controls them you could remove a mirror and test for proper voltage at mirror...
