Door Mirror Replacement

My wife was backing our 06 Explorer (Eddie Bauer) out of the garage and broke the passenger side mirror. Of course it was my fault since I last drove the vehicle?? I have purchased a new mirror assembly and was told that the door panel must be removed to access the mirror mounts. The door only has two screws at the base of the door. The panel looks as if it is all in 1 piece.

How do you remove the door panel without damaging the door? Is there a special tool that would help pry the panel?

Any advice would be helpful

you have to pry off the plastic cover on the grab handle and the cover where the power switch's are located. There are 2 7mm screws that need to be removed under each cover.

just a few more words. I believe there are 6 bolts total under the covers. Then you lift straight up then on the entire panel to pull the clips out of the door.
