'02 Explorer Engine Swap

i have a 02 explorer with fords sorry engine and i wood like to replace it with a
02 single cam 4.0 engine. has any one every done this. I am a old 75 year old grease monkey and new at this computer stuff.

I think you're saying that you have an 02 SOHC V6 and would like to replace it with a 02 OHV V6. I believe 01 was the last year the factory installed the OHV V6 in an Explorer.
