02 Passenger door won't lock

Door unlocks fine but won't lock. Found this clip when I removed the panel. Looks like it should hold the actuator in place but I can't figure out how to attach it.

Any advice???

Thanks but the cylinder is ok. I believe this clip holds the actuator.

Actuators are fastened with one 1/4" rivet and held by the bracket.

Looks like that is the culprit. Aluminum it looks like? Any idea on length?

Looks like a previous repair was attempted.

Punch out the rivet and use a low profile button head screw and nut, or have a body shop rivet it back on.
