02 sensor ID

I just installed 2 upstream 02 sensors (Motorcraft) and it seems bank 1 (drivers side) and Bank 2 (Passengers)are the same length and part number. When I originally replaced the OEM sensors, Bank 2 sensor was shorter than Bank 1. Is there two different part numbers for the upstream sensors. The part number from Ford is DY-843 for both Banks.

The sensors are exactly alike, except for the length
of the wiring harness (as you've found out).

It's much harder to reach the wiring plug on the
driver's side, so the longer replacement harness
might make it easier to plug in...?

I suspect Ford has done this to reduce parts
inventory.
