2002 Ford exp sport trac
I have an 2002 sport trac 4x4. I want to lift it some and put some bigger tires on it, but I am new to lifting. I am a person who lowers cars, I have a 2013 genesis coupe and its lowered, so lifting is out of my league. What is the best thing to do while lifting a body lift? Thanks for any help!

That sub forum is really helpful for lifting our trucks.

Did you find what you need? Basically, I did it in a few steps. Spray everything with PB Blaster or similar penetrant!

1. Take bed off. (T55 Torx bit)
2. Loosen all body bolts and take off one side entirely
3. Floor jack with a 4x4 block of wood on top in the center of the 2 doors. You'll see a bumpout behind the rocker panels.
4. Put blocks in one side.
5. Repeat for other side.
6. Do bumpers
7. Put bed back on.

Make sure you zip tie back the ac hose so it doesn't hit your fan belt and shred the hose. Thats in the instructions but VERY important.

Penetrant is your friend and I used a giant pipe wrench (~2.5ft long handle) to hold the lower pucks from spinning when I was loosening the body bolts.

If you have any questions, always feel free to post em!

Thanks I appreciate it!

If you do the body lift don't forget to check all binding spots post lift. I missed that the AC hose was too close to the belts and it only took about 25 seconds to cut through it. 400 bucks later... Lol. There is a picture of what I'm talking about in my Registry. Good luck.

That's what I meant! Not wire, I'll have to change that in my post.

Haha I was really trying to figure out what wire you meant. I know I saw it in the instructions after. Teaches me not to triple check
