'02 ST from Red Deer, AB

Hey, just bought an '02 sport trac, insurance wrote of my chevy blazer.

This truck is also a write off, but it doesn't need too much to make it pass a salvage inspection.

There's only been 1 owner, he bought it new from dealership. But he went in the ditch and through a farmer's fence, I guess hitting one of the posts. So the front bumper needs to be replaced, the passenger side is scratched to hell from the fence and the rear bumper has some damage just behind the rear wheel on the passengers side.

Bought it for $2000, its got 247k km on it, but the timing chain needs to be replaced. So since the engine has to come out anyways, we're just going to put in a new one.

I had a 99 Ranger with this exact engine, thing was a lemon and tbh I said I'd never buy another ford. Even though its the exact same setup, the engine in the Ranger put out close to 60hp less than the current Rangers or the ST.

I'm really hoping I made a good choice buying this ST.

Sounds like a good candidate- you're replacing the engine anyway, so you should be good!
